A 19th Century French Sevres porcelain hand painted table centrepiece vase having a deep cobalt ground with intricately decorated white cartouche panels set with flowers and botanical sprays. The borders and flanks decorated in high gilt with turquoise enamel details. Blue Sevres marks to underside of both pieces. Measures approx; 22cm tall. Appears in good condition with no visible signs of damage or restoration.

Hand knotted with deep pile using natural colours with deep red ground, cream spandrel borders and intricate repeating botanical decoration surrounding the central medallion with further decoration to the border and tasseled ends. The carving depicts an elderly man with bone inlay eyes holding his long beard in one hand & foo dog staff in the other. He stands hunched over with two sheep / goats with bone inlaid eyes sitting at his feet atop a botanical pierced decoration base. Condition; some signs of damage / repair but ware commensurate with age. Measures approx; 53cm x 20cm.

The porcelain tazza decorated in the Thai taste with enamel decoration depicting floral motifs and lotus set panels. The tazza with Famille Verte ground and Famille Rose detailing. The tazza having a scalloped / serpentine edge with central botanical motif to the recess of the bowl. The bowl raised on footed pedestal base. Some visible chips to rim. A near identical example can be found in the Art Gallery NSW. Measures approx; 12cm x 5cm.

A JAPANESE EFU NO DATCHI PRESENTATION MARSHAL TYPE SWORD. With an 80cm blade, the tang inscribed 'Sa Yukihide saku kore (made this) Kaei 6th year (1853). With a horimo of a prunus branch to one side and bamboo to the other, with hamon visible along much of the length,. Tsuka and saya covered in samegawa. With full length copper fukurin embellished with repousse scale decoration. Silvered fittings with gilt accents cast in heavy relief with cherry blossom and other botanical themes and crouching samurai. Leather obitori with nanatsu-gane.
