A John Ridgway porcelain botanical part dessert service: each piece painted to the centre with a botanical specimen within a gilded midnight blue border and foliate moulded gilded pale yellow rim, pink printed Royal Arms mark and pattern numbers 6556 and 6916, circa 1840-50, comprising: a pedestal centrepiece, three two-handled oval comports, four two-handled circular comports and twenty one plates, 29 pieces [some damage and stacking wear].
