1940s Theatre Poster - Laurel And Hardy - The London Palladium - an original 1940s (1947) poster from the London Palladium for Laurel & Hardy, appearing alongside Ronald Chesney, Billy Cotton And His Band, Jack Train, The Hightowers and others. Folded, with edgewear to the lower edge, otherwise G to G+ 51cm x 32cm. Provenance: from a large private collection of 1940s theatre (and other) posters. All originally obtained and used by the Keith Prowse Ticket Agency in London during the period. All posters are used and display signs of wear. Most feature pin holes to the corners, and most are folded - although the folds tend not to have penetrated the print, making them largely unnoticeable in many cases. Eyes Wide Shut (1999 Erotic Thriller directed and co-written by Stanley Kubrick) - an original production used copy of a screenplay / script, the pages of which are variously dated c1996/1997. The script features several extensive amendments and revisions in an unknown hand, including the ending scene and dialogue. 122pp, loose, with no covers or title page. Production used copy, likely taken from the original hand-amended script and used for transposing the changes into a revised draft script. Along with a crew-only 'Eyes Wide Shut,' gift bomber jacket, complete with tag 'We wish you a Very Merry Christmas With Thanks - Nicole & Tom,' (Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise). Unused.
