Provenance: By family tradition, this is known as “the bards chair” & originally belonged to Edward Morris (1607-89) of Perthi Llwydion, Cerrig-y-drudion, Denbighshire, Wales, thence by descent remaining in the same family to the present day. (Edward Morris resided at this address from 1620-89).
