CHILD & CHILD - a pair of late Victorian rose gold mounted cufflinks. each terminal designed as a heart, collet set with a green stained ivory panel, conjoined by belcher form links, struck with maker`s marks and additionally stamped 10ct. Length of terminals 1.9cm. . Note: These cufflinks are after a design by the Pre-Raphaelite painter and jewellery designer Sir Edward Burne-Jones. Manufactured by renowned London jewellers Child & Child and signed with their trade mark - a monogram of two C`s and a sunflower. The design was originally produced for the artist`s own use and re-issued commercially during the 1880`s. The intriguing design reflects Burne-Jones` preference for stained ivory over more valuable gem stones and features his favoured decorative heart motif.. A 1948 Stuart Surridge & Co. Limited cricket back autographed to front side with the Australia and England full cricket team members. Listed under Australia are 15 names headed by Don Bradman and under England 11 names headed by N Yardley. The 1948 Australia team gained notoriety for being undefeated for the entire tour. Bradman was making his fourth and final tour of England. This bat was signed at the Oval test match when Bradman played his last test for Australia. He needed only four runs from his final innings to have a test batting average of 100 but was out for a duck bowled second ball by Eric Hollies. The reverse of the bat is inscribed with six various county teams and team members including Surrey, Leicester, Kent, Yorkshire, Middlesex and Nottinghamshire. The bat belonged to the vendor`s father, Stanley Squires, who played for Surrey and who collected all the signatures himself.
A 19th Century Parisian White Marble & Gilt Bronze Clock Set in the Louis XVI Style. The round convex enamel dial signed G. COIFFE LIMOGES and set into a gilt drum flanked by sprays of laurel with a sleeping cherub leant against one side. The white marble plinth adorned with a recessed frieze of classical scrolling flowers and foliage raised on leafy bun feet, 12½ ins (32 cms) in height. The candelabra in the form of an infant boy & girl holding scrolling cornucopia with fruiting vines to the candle cups, raised on round marble pedestals.
A Small Louis XVI Style Figural Bronze & White Marble Mantel Clock. The movement set in a black patinated globe studded with gilt stars and applied numerals, held aloft by a winged cherub. The dark brown patinated figure sat upon a stop fluted marble column with gilt bronze mounts leading down to a square base with breakfront corners above foliate cast feet, 13¾ ins (35 cms) in height.

The enamelled chapter ring singed HRY MARC PARIS and encircling a visible escapement with the name repeated on the back plate and stamped with numbers 2323 22 645. The tall rectangular uprights veneered in green tortoiseshell with silver metal embellishments & stringing, and finely pierced gilt bronze mounts engraved with scrolling foliage. The clock raised on an ebonised plinth base with moulded edge under a glass dome 24 ins (60 cms) in height (A/F).

A Fabulous Quality Rosewood & Kingwood Serpentine Front Vitrine with ormolu mounts. The Brêche d`alep marble top having a bowed break front and concave sides with a moulded edge. The frieze mounted with a finely cast ormolu band of lavishly scrolling husk flowers, and small urns of cascading flowers heading the pilasters. The glazed bow-front door and concaved side panels displaying an adjustable glass shelf and edged in foliate cast beading with entwined garlands of laurel running down the pilasters and fine foliate mounts to the square tapering feet, 39¾ ins (101 cms high, 37 ins (94 cms) wide, 17½ ins (44.5 cms) deep.
An Empire Flame Mahogany & Parcel Gilt Sewing Table. The hinged circular top rising to reveal a partitioned tray lifting out to access the fabric bag below. The bag composed of burgundy silk gathered at the base in a pleated fringe above a reeded knop and carved collar enriched with gilding. The circular base platform having four protuberant roundel`s with turned caps above carved claw feet, 30¾ ins (78 cms) in height, 16½ ins (42 cms) in diameter.
A Fine Pair of Empire Ormolu Mounted Figural Bronze Candelabra. The dark brown patinated figures of Diana & Endymion holding aloft the four light candle branches; each with a central candle cups raised on a lyre surrounded by three further candle cups on C-scroll arms cast with dogs-head terminals and issuing sprays of foliage. The classical figures standing upon square pedestal plinths with gilt appliqués cast in the form of winged torchères and female figures. 28 ins (71 cms) in height,
A Pair of 19th Century French Tôle-ware Lamps. The swept shade holders surmounted by gilt egg finials; the urn-shaped lamps painted dark green with applied gilt brass bearded face-masks below foliate scroll handles with flower-head terminals. The square pedestal bases enriched with gilt brass sunburst face-mask appliqués. The bases bearing the plaques numbered 13129 and 13130 `Par Brevet d`invention Lampes Hydrostatiques de Thilorier & Serrurot, Rie du Bonley no. 4`. 32½ ins (83 cms) in height, 5¼ ins x 5¼ ins (13 cms x 13 cms).
A Splendid Victorian Brass & Silver Plated Clock Set: The clock having an enamel dial with gilt numerals signed HOWELL JAMES & Co. TO THE QUEEN LONDON & PARIS. The brass case ornately engraved with scrolling flowers & foliage and edged in beading with a pair of silver plated cherubs riding on the backs of dragons mounted either side of the base, and a silvered figure of a lady surmounting the pediment, 20 ins (50 cms) high. The candelabra each having a raised centre candle cup flanked by U-shaped branches ornamented with anthemion motifs and emanating from a reeded column. The bases with cherubic mounts echoing the clock, 17¼ ins (44 cms) in height.
