TIMBRELL, LMS ATHLETIC CHAMPIONSHIP 2 MILE WALK 2nd all three hallmarked Silver and a hallmarked .375 gold LMSR (BHAM) HORTICULTRAL SOCIETY ANNUAL SHOW1927. All four in excellent condition.
Cork Blackrock & Passage Railway silver cased pocket watch with an going barrel movement with cylinder escapement possibly of French origin. Key wound and set, the dial is enamelled with the company initials CB & PR and the case is marked inside fine silver. In excellent working condition, complete with key.
Neath & Brecon Railway nickel cased pocket watch with American Waltham Watch Co 15 jewel movement number 16574926 which dates this watch to 1908. The dial is enamelled N.& B.R. FATTORINI & SONS LTD BRADFORD and the rear of the case is hand engraved 20. Top wound and top set and in good working condition.
South Eastern & Chatham Railway nickel cased pocket watch with American Waltham Watch Co 15 jewel movement number 21217619 which dates this watch to 1917. The dial is enamelled WALTHAM USA and the rear of the case is hand engraved S.E & C.R 1317. Top wound and top set and in good working condition.
Worksplate R & W HAWTHORN, LESLIE & CO LTD ENGINEERS NEWCASTLE-ON-TYNE 3406 - 1920 ex Taff Vale Railway Cameron A Class 0-6-2 T originally numbered TVR 405 and then GWR 391. Allocated to 88A Cardiff Cathays from where it was withdrawn in September 1956 and scrapped. Oval cast brass measuring 6in x 4in. Face restored.

These (reduced) size brass milk churns were displayed on counter tops in Dairy Shops to summarise the benefits of dairy products.
Advertising cigarette display cabinet ASK FOR EVANS SPECIAL CIGARETTES. An ornate wooden, glazed and mirrored cabinet with five separate glazed drawers that pull out on either side with makers plate Randall & Son, Narrow Wine Street Bristol. In very good condition measures 35in x 23in x 6.5in.
Totem BR(S) HF BLACKHEATH from the former South Eastern & Chatham Railway station between New Cross and Woolwich. Totems at this station were only used on the platform extensions as Targets remained on the original platforms and are not common. In very good as removed condition.
Worksplate LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY DARLINGTON WORKS 1921 65860 ex NER Wordsell 0-6-0 originally numbered NER 2338, LNER 5860 and lastly BR 65860. Allocated to Stockton, Newport (Teeside), Darlington, Blyth and 52G Sunderland from where it was withdrawn in July 1967. Scrapped later the same year at Hughes Bolckow Blyth. Oval cast iron measuring 9in x 5in with brass renumbering strip.
GWR brass cabside numberplate 6017 ex Collett King 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1928 and named King Edward IV. Allocated to Old Oak Common. Laira and 84A Stafford Road from where it was withdrawn in July 1962. Scrapped the following year at Cox & Danks Oldbury. Partially face restored.
Worksplate HUDSWELL, CLARKE & CO LTD RAILWAY FOUNDRY LEEDS No924 1910 ex Burry Port & Gwendraeth Valley Railway 0-6-0 T originally numbered BPGVR 10 then GWR 2198. Based at 87F Llanelly all its working life and withdrawn in March 1959 and scrapped. Oval engraved brass measuring 13in x 8in. Face lightly cleaned.
LB&SCR 10 inch Mahogany cased fusee dial clock with a cast brass bezel, manufactured for the London Brighton and South Coast Railway circa 1889 by Grimshaw, Baxter & Elliott Ltd. The chain driven English fusee movement in fully overhauled condition is of typical London style and has rectangular plates, the white enamel hand painted dial displays the legend, B.R.(S). John Walker 1, South Molton St London 796.B. and the rear of the case has been stamped 796 B. The Southern clock records show that this clock was originally supplied to Tulse Hill, Knights Hill Signal Box and was later transferred to Peckham Rye. In fully working condition complete with pendulum and keys.
Collection antique blue & white dinner plates including pair Nankeen semi-china plates, (diameter 22.5cm approx, each); pair Copeland 'Greek,' plates, (diameter 26.5cm approx, each); and pair Minton plates, blossom decorated, impressed mark to bases, (diameter 25cm approx, each).
