Illtyd, a steel tramp steamer, was built in 1889 in the Whitehall, Whitby shipyard of Thomas Turnbull & Son for their related company, Turnbull Brothers,of Cardiff. Showed solo at Ginnel Gallery, Manchester and Grundy Art Gallery, Blackpool, 1989. Rochdale Art Gallery and Museum and Leeds City Council hold his work.
