A FINE GROUP OF SCOTTISH REGALIA reputedly formerly the property of Colonal Campbell, to include a Scottish Officers gilt brass mounted Regimental dirk of The 17th (Cameron) Highlanders circa 1860, the blade etched with Regimental honors of Egmont Opzee, the ebonised carved baluster grip set with gilt brass studs, the pommel inset with a piece of cut glass against a pink foil, together with a sash and belt, both with silver mounts, all marked for Edinburgh 1855 and makers mark of James and William Marshall, further complete with a kilt, leather sporran, a Glengarry cap with Regimental badge, a Sgian-Dubh with Egypt honors to the ebony grip, a silver mounted sporran with thistle decoration and central crest of a tower with arms pulling taut a bow and arrow and motto over 'Agite Pro Viribus' etc Colonel Campbell was colonel of the 6th Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment and won his DSO in the South African war, he was D.L and J.P for Herefordshire and married Helen Spooner, youngest daughter of Richard Spooner H.E.I.C.S (Honorable East India Company Service) of Warwickshire on 7th September 1881

Carrie White's (ChloÃÆ’« Grace Moretz) bloody prom dress from Kimberly Pierce's horror remake Carrie (2013). Carrie wore her bloodied dress after a bucket of pig's blood was tipped over her during the prom, and throughout her ensuing rampage through the town. The floor-length dress is made from pink chiffon with a subtle floral pattern and rippled A-line hem. It features a sweetheart-style neckline with slender shoulder straps and a matching sash that fastens behind. There is a short zipper under the left arm and a pink petticoat sewn inside. A label inside reads "Blood Bucket €“ Carrie Hero"written in black pen.The dress is heavily stained with stage blood and there are some small holes around the hem from use during production.£2000-3000 †Δ

Charles I (1625-49), silver Halfcrown of Two Shillings and Sixpence, Nicholas Briot's first milled Issue (1631-32), armoured King on horseback left, crowned holding sword with flowing sash, rough groundline, beaded circle and legend surrounding, initial mark B and flower, CAROLVS. D:G: MAGN. BRITAN. FRAN. ET. HIB. REX, rev. inverted die axis, crowned quartered shield of arms in frame, crowned C and lozenge to left, crowned R and lozenge to right, beaded circle and legend surrounding, CHRISTO. AVSPICE. REGNO. weight 14.97g (Bull 468; Brooker 715; N.2299; S.2853). Toned practically very fine. Nicholas Briot the Engraver general to the mints of France, introduced his mechanised mill press to the Tower Mint in 1631. The milled issues were engraved to a very fine quality by Briot, like the coin offered here. Briot had gained the King's favour in 1626 after having moved to England in 1625, the King wanting to improve the artistic merit of the nation's coinage, which led to Briot's official appointment as mint engraver in 1634. Declaration in two lines at centre between ruled lines RELIG: PROT: LEG / ANGL: LIBER: PARL, three Shrewsbury plumes above, date below, legend and beaded borders surrounding, initial mark nine pellets, EXVRGAT. DEVS. DISSIPENTVR. INIMICI:, weight 15.08g (Bull 588/11; Brooker 825/815; N.2378/2372; S.2934). Unevenly shaped in striking with some weakness and double striking, the eleven-pellet reverse seems to be the product of a 9 pellet double strike, toned good very fine though as struck and rare. King Charles I arrived in Shrewsbury on the 20th September 1642 and ordered Thomas Bushell to move the Royalist Mint from the town of Aberystwyth where much silver was mined, to Shrewsbury. The Mint was moved and operational by early the following month, but activity only lasted there for 9-10 weeks, as by the 29th October King Charles was ordering Bushell to once again move the Mint to the City of Oxford. The move this time was much slower and it was not till the 3rd January 1642/3 that Thomas Bushell arrived with his by now quite mobile Mint in Oxford, where it was set up in New Inn Hall. A pair of 19th century continental porcelain figures, emblematic of Europe and Asia after the originals by Chelsea, Europe as a female wearing floral robes and with attendant recumbent horse, Asia as a female wearing a colourful turban and with attendant recumbent camel, each decorated in bright enamels and on swept Rococo bases, with gold anchor marks verso, h.23cmCondition report: Both with restoration and handling wear. Europe - lantern restored, left index finger missing, left thumb restored, spear restored, chip to edge of pink sash. Asia - major yellowing to underside probably from old restoration, left hand restored, right arm restored, staff broken.
