CHINESE KANGXI GILT BRONZE OF GREEN TARA KAUN YING - Antique Chinese Kangxi gilded bronze sculpture depicting a seated Green Tara Quan Yin. seated in lalitasana on a lotus blossom, with her pendant leg also extended on the lotus. She is clad in dhoti with an elaborate belt, with the sash draped over her arms, and adorned with jewelry and flanked by lotus blossoms on her shoulders. Three years later he was transfered to Bonn. His more then 40 years long career ended in 1991 in Stockholm - and among the honorary guests there where King Carl XVI. Gustav and Silvia from Sweden. Alholm distinguished himself by a clear and open minded polictical view during his whole career. And even criticism within the own crowd wasnt unusual, making him an honest person. For the sovjet-finnish relation he always had an ear and eye - what caused, that he worked on this topic also scientifically. Making him able to recognice a kind of historical trauma and a form of identity shifting with the finnish Autonomy movement. In 2001 he published his book Dissident Ambassador (Toisinajattelija suurlähettiläänä) which deals with this topic. Most likly of around 1880, where the goldsmith master Samuel Samuilovich Arndt (1812-1890) was company leader.Condition: II

The award of this set, which took place in 1978, most likly relates to this work.Condition: II
