An officer in blue tunic with silver epaulettes, 4.2cm high, gold frame. Painted on porcelain, a gentleman wearing a red velvet hat, open white shirt and black robe, 4.5cm high. A lady with pearls to her hair in the manner of Cosway, 4cm high. An oval enamel plaque depicting Hebe and Zeus as an eagle drinking from her chalice on brown ground, 2.5cm high. A similar enamel plaque painted with the head of a gentleman with hair tied with a bow. A gentleman painted on porcelain in the manner of Charles II, 3.3cm, framed. Jacket is a short bolero style with long full sleeves trimmed with cream crochet lace. Crochet trim collar and metal zip fastening marked 'Lightning' - possibly a later addition. Full length circular skirt in dark blue slub cotton blend with heavy glazed cotton underskirt and single button back fastening. Full length apron comprises extra long blue sash fastening with heavily embroidered hem. Central panel trimmed in cream crochet lace, bands of heavily embroidered cotton and cream lace crochet inserts. Hook and eye fastening to apron sash and concealed pocket to reverse. Approx measurements, skirt, 28 inches to waist, 41 inches in length. Apron,29 inches in width, 42.5 inches in length. Jacket 17 inches in length, shoulder seam 18 inches, sleeve length 23 inches. Two Edwardian dresses; an ivory silk wedding/evening two-piece comprising a long flowing skirt with train, embroidered lace panels and exquisite ribbon work, fitted bodice top with ruffle sleeves and neckline, ribbon lace and embroidered net lace panels to either side, an Edwardian pale green day dress, heavily embroidered pink flowers on a pale green satin background with bugle bead trim, lace and pleated panels and a green satin sash, a c1900 silk boned and fitted jacket with peplum and two Edwardian ladies' skirts; one black example with wide panel of lace and one cream example with purple button and velvet trim. CONDITION REPORT Some staining to the green dress and age related wear, back of the silk sash is ripped, some wear to hem, cream dress has small holes to the skirt lace is intact

Upright collar edged all round with narrow French braid. Eleven loops of gold basket cord each side in front, with three rows of worked gold buttons. Plain cuffs with pointed edging of wide gold French braid, with cord forming a knot at the point. Backseam ornaments of narrow French braid, traced with groups of Russia braid eyes. Plaited gold cords to shoulders. An aiguillette of plaited basket cord with plain gilt metal tags. A matching pair of pantaloons, with thigh ornaments of French braid traced with Russia; and a cream silk sash some 6 ft long, the ends each ornamented with four pointed loops of 1-inch gold French braid and a row of fine gold fringe. A Sino-Tibetan gilt bronze figure of Green Tara (Syamatara), 18/19th C. H.: 35,5 cmWeight: 8.3 kg Provenance: A Danish private collection. Reputedly brought to Denmark just before WWII. The figure depicted seated in lalitasana on a double-lotus base, the hands in vitarkamudra, clad in a dhoti secured with an elaborate belt with a sash draped over her left arm, adorned in various jewelry and flanked by lotus blossoms at her shoulders, the face with urna surmounted by a tiara, the engraved base sealed.
