A Jean Paul Gaultier grey wool evening gown, probably `Forbidden Gaultier` collection, 1987-8, labelled Femme, GB 8, the strapless bodice with boned side panels, sash that rises over the shoulder sari-style, with leather bracelet, bust approx 81cm, 32in (2). A Berlin rectangular plaque, well painted by G Richler, with Queen Louise, draped with flowing white robe and pink sash, 17cm x 11cm, the verso inscribed Konigin Louise Nach G. Richler, framed. Princess Louise was born on March 10, 1776 in Hanover, Germany, the daughter of Prince Charles of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. Early in 1792, when Louise was 16, her uncle, hoping to strengthen the ties between his family and the Prussian royal family, carefully plotted a meeting between Louise and Crown Prince Frederick William III. The plan worked, and they married. The Prince became King when his father died in 1797

A 19th Century Ormolu Mantel Clock, with eight day movement striking a bell. The gilt bronze face with scaly centre surmounted by a gilt male figure with a billowing sash and seated upon a large bronze dolphin. The plinth having a rectangular frieze cast with a figural scene above a palmate border. The square block feet ornamented with crossed fork & paddles. 20 ins (52 cms) in height, 14¼ ins x 5 ins (36 cms x 13 cms).
