A late 1960's silver three piece tea service, with half reeded decoration, comprising teapot and cream jug, both Sheffield 1688, by Mappin and Webb, also a sugar basin, Sheffield 1970, by Roberts and Belk; 40.6 oz (1152 gms). The tea set is in generally good condition. There are just some minor scratches to the silver work on the tea pot, the hallmark is nice and clear, the tea pot is stamped Mappin & Webb Ltd London to the bottom base. The tea pot is stained to the interior bottom. The handle and knop look a little worn. There is no serious damage to the cream jug or sugar bowl.
George V rectangular entree dish with gadrooned borders and detachable leaf formed handle. Length measures 10 1/4ins (26cm), weight 40.79ozt (1268.5gms). Hallmarked Mappin & Webb 1934. The entree dish is in very good condition. It is tarnished, and has a number of surface scratches of varying seriousness. There are a few very minor dents and several spots of discolouration. The handle on the lid can be removed so that the lid can be turned upside down and used as another dish. All the hallmarks are clear. All the pieces are stamped with the number 3. The base is stamped 'MAPPIN & WEBB LTD. LONDON & SHEFFIELD'.
A pair of George V sauce boats, each of plain form above an oval stepped base and with scrolling handles, weight 4.57 ozt (129.7gms), date mark for Birmingham 1934, and makers mark for Mappin and Webb. There are slight scratches and some shallow dents to the bodies of the sauce boats caused by general wear and tear. Both items have more severe scratching on the insides possibly where dents have been pushed out. There are some small areas of tarnishing, mainly on the bases of the objects. The hallmarks are rubbed but still legible. Overall the items are in good condition. he bases of the sauce boats are marked 'Mappin&Webb 6' and 'Mappin&Webb 8'.
A 1930's hinged table cigarette box with engine turned decoration to the lid and wooden interior. Width measures 5 1/4ins (13.5cm). Hallmarked Mappin & Webb London 1937. There are some surface scratches to the body of the box, but these are not serious. The hinges work well although the lid fits a little tightly, and is therefore a bit stiff. There are some marks and blemishes to the silver, and there are some pieces of sellotape stuck on to the sides. The box has a few small dents around the sides. There are some build-ups of polish around the inside of the lid, and also on the handle. The wooden interior is in reasonable condition, with some marks from polish, and a couple of very tiny chips.
A selection of twentieth century items to include a cream jug of baluster form and leaf capped handle, height measures 4 1/2ins (12cm, weight 6.48ozt (201.6gms), hallmarked Barker Ellis Silver Co Birmingham 1974. A sugar sifter of facetted baluster form with decoratively pierced lid, height measures 6 3/4ins (17cm), weight 4.94ozt (153.6gms), hallmarked Birmingham 1973. A pepper mill of plain from, height measures 3 3/4ins (10cm), hallmarked Birmingham 1977. A cheese scoop with Kings pattern handle, length measures 7 1/2ins (19cm), weight 1.95ozt (60.6gms), hallmarked Mappin & Webb Sheffield 1977. A tea strainer and bowl with decorative acanthus leaf and floral scroll moulded handle, length measures 6 1/4ins (15.5cm), weight 80.4gms (2.58ozt), hallmarked Birmingham 1975. A pair of filled table candlesticks with shaped conical stems and circular stepped base, height measures 4 3/4ins (12cm), hallmarked Birmingham 1974. Overall in nice condition, each item does have general scratches marks and patches of tarnishing, in places some deeper scratches and small dints/dents-to one candlestick there is a small dent to the head, and remnants of old candles to both, to the rim of the pepper there is also a shallow dent, there are a few small nicks to the rim of the cheese scoop and a more noticeable dent to the head of the sifter.
Four assorted miniature trophies with plinths each with engraving and one with lid the finial depicting a man in a golfing pose. All the tropies are in reasonable condition. The largest has a lid with a golfer on the top. The whole trophy is tarnished, but the lid especially so. The rim of the lid is badly bent, so it does not sit properly on top of the trophy. The trophy is marked '1937, The Barth Cup, A.J. Field'. The stand is in good condition. The hallmark is clear and unrubbed. he second biggest cup is quite badly dented. It is marked 'C.S.C. Snooker Cup Winner 1936'. The stand is scuffed but in reasonably good condition. The hallmark is very rubbed. he two small cups are both a little dented. One of them has broken away from its stand. Both stands are scuffed and scratched, but in reasonable condition. They are engraved 'The Tyson Challenge Cup Won by A.J. Field 1925', and 'K.U.R. Golf Club Rhodes Cup 1945 A.J. Field'. One of them is silver and its hallmark is clear. The other is marked Mappin and Webb plate. All the cups have surface scratches and areas of tarnish.

A plated part table service, in a fanned Elkington & Co pattern, with differing marks, comprising; sixteen table spoons, twenty two table forks, twelve fish knives, four sauce ladles, twelve fish forks, two cheese scoops, four asparagus tongs, two soup ladles, two serving spoons, a pair of salad servers, an additional serving spoon and thirty seven further items, also a plated large jug by Mappin and Webb.
