A circa 1951 precious white metal and brilliant cut diamond line or 'Tennis' articulated bracelet, with a concealed box clasp and hinged safety device, comprising thirty seven brilliant cut diamonds, each in a box grain setting with engraved leaf scrolls to each side, measuring 4.1 mm wide and 16.5 cms long, cast and hand assembled form by Mappin & Webb stock, number SA/690/HCO, metal tested and valued as platinum, estimated total stone weight is 5.90 cts colour G/H clarity VS1, weight 12.5 gms. Condition report: All the links are in good condition, there are no stones missing and the clasp and safety device are all fine
A circa 1951 diamond and precious white metal (platinum) Art Deco style double clip brooch by Mappin & Webb, of horizontal stylised leaf form with a safety chain fitted, comprising in the centre a diagonal row of 2 x five graduated baguette cut diamonds (1 loose) these have a surround of 2 x fourteen and 2 x fifteen (scroll) single cuts diamonds, at each horizontal end is a scrolling motif set with twenty four single cut diamonds and on the outside a curving loop of eight brilliant cut diamonds, grain and channel set, measuring 59.5 x 28 mm, total of 10 baguettes (0.75ct) 102 single (1.50 cts) and 20 brilliant (1.40 cts) cut diamonds, weight 18.9 gms.
