An enamel novelty fishing brooch, by Alabaster & Wilson, modelled as a leaping fish to a rod with a seed pearl set reel, measures 6cm by 1.5cm, in a case retailed by Mappin & Webb LtdThe brooch is in good condition. The enamel is in good condition with no defects noted. It is stamped with sponsor's mark 'A&W' for Alabaster & Wilson and '9CT' and 'SILVER' and in our opinion would test as gold and silver. It fastens with a pin and safety clasp. Gross weight 4.8 grams. Condition Report made 6th July 2017.
