A George V Silver Pedestal-Dish, by Mappin and Webb, Sheffield, 1923, the circular bowl on spreading foot, 19.5cm diameter, 12.5cm high, 317grFully marked under rim. The marks are generally clear. There is some very minor surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The stem is very slightly pushed up into the bowl.
An Edward VII silver gilt fruit bowl, mark of Mappin & Webb, Sheffield, 1906, of circular dished form, the flared sides pierced with swirls and scrolls, cast border with trailing vines, plain circular field, raised on 3 decorative double scroll supports with foliate feet, 26cm diameter, 13.5cm high, 20.7oztOverall in good condition with no obvious signs of damage or repair. Hallmarks clear and readable. Stands well on a flat surface with no wobble. No obvious damage or losses to the pierced section. The field with some surface scratches and scuffs, as to be expected and commensurate with use.
