A Mappin & Webb plated oak canteen of cutlery CONDITION REPORTS Oak box itself has wear and scuffs, and quite a lot of stains, marks, water stains and cup marks to top, various chips and scratches. Interior fitment to lid coming loose and interior fitments with some wear, dirt and damage. Cutlery with wear, scuffs, scratches, some of the knives appear to have been sharpened so shapes are slightly irregular. Contents are not complete. Some of the items are associated (do not match). Also, there are no teaspoons and no serving spoons. Please see photos for examples and quantity of contents.

Johnson for 30 Years Service 1946" to the hinged engine turned decorated lid, Mappin & Webb, Birmingham 1947, 18 x 9.5 x 6cm. An early 20th century leather vanity case housing five George V hallmarked silver topped dressing jars, a pair of scent bottles, and a screw cap hip flask, a further leather cased bottle and similar vesta case, a cased manicure set, a travelling clock, an address book, a card case, and a sewing set, with two pairs of tortoiseshell backed brushes, a hand mirror, a shoe horn, a button hook, and a hat brush, mostly centred with a circular silver cartouche initialled "FP", Mappin & Webb, London 1916, in canvas and velvet cover, both cover and suitcase initialled in gilt "FP", 50 x 36 x 17cm.
ROLEX; a gentleman's Oyster perpetual day-date 18ct yellow gold wristwatch with President bracelet, boxed with 1989 price list and booklet relating to Rolex Oysters issued by Mappin & Webb Ltd of Manchester, also with three additional links and pins for the bracelet. CONDITION REPORT: Very minor signs of use, some tiny light surface scratches but overall in excellent condition. Leather box/case with Rolex buckle strap. No certificate with serial number present.
A late 19th century silver cased open face key wind pocket watch, the circular enamel dial set with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds, the verge movement inscribed "JSB No.20324", the case hallmarked for Chester 1887, and a chromed pocket barometer with fitted hallmarked silver covered case, centred with thermometer, with easel stand to the back allowing it to act as a portable weather station, case hallmarked for Mappin & Webb, Birmingham (date letter rubbed), length 16.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: This is not in working order.
