AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY CASED SET OF SIX ROYAL WORCESTER COFFEE CUPS AND SAUCERS AND SIX SILVER TEA SPOONS, retailed by Mappin & Webb. The cups and saucers having yellow ground and decorated with a wide band of scrolling foliage and gilding on a white ground with gilt handles and foot rim and gilded interior. Printed 1926 mark to base. The coffee spoons decorated with yellow guilloche enamel, import marks London 1926. (one saucer AF).

HON THE EARL OF LONSDALE, flanked by rose roundels, further enamel plaques, two large commemoration plaques, the first inscribed OCT. 6TH 1913, KID LEWIS DEFEATED ALEC LAMBERT, 17 ROUNDS, £350, the other MAY 31 1915, LLEW EDWARDS DEFEATED OWEN MORAN, 10 ROUNDS, £750, the belt set with four smaller commemoration plaques, chronologically reading JUNE 1917, CHARLIE HARDCASTLE DEFEATED LET. Arsenal FC: a silver cigarette box by Mappin & Webb, hallmarked London 1932-33, of square form with engine turned decoration & Art Deco motif to hinged cover, the front inscribed TO INSPECTOR PASCALL, IN APPRECIATION OF HIS KINDNESS TO THE SPECIALS AT HIGHBURY, fitted cedar wood interior. This presentation coincides with a glorious period for the Highbury club. In this year, 1933, Arsenal won the League Championship; a title they won on five occasions during the decade. They also won the F.A. Cup twice and the Charity Sheild five times during the 1930s.

And a giardinetto brooch set with rose cut diamonds, two rubies and two emeralds in silver on gold, a pair of silver cuff links with light blue guillouche enamel decoration, a silver egg formed pendant with cloisonne decoration, a small dagger with cloisonne decoration and a gold stick pin set with a small pearl.
