A Royal Worcester cased coffee set date codes for 1938, retailed by Mappin & Webb, the rims decorated with a colourful border of flowers above sponged turquoise bands. Comprising: six coffee cups, six saucers and six silver coffee spoons, all contained in a fitted blue case. Provenance: by repute, gifted as a wedding present to Viscount Cowdray and Lady Anne Bridgman upon their marriage on 19th July 1939. From the estate of the late Christopher Sheppard.
A late Victorian diamond and pearl leaf brooch, c.1890,in a later box by Mappin and Webb. The brooch with an old European cut diamond, claw set to the centre with open leaves, each one peg set to the centre with two white and one grey pearls, to a border of old Swiss cut diamonds. A Swiss cut diamond claw set between the leaves to a diamond set stem. All set in silver and backed in gold. Pearls untested. 30 x 24mm

A brilliant cut diamond, c.1930, with a known weight of 10.87ct, six claw set to a tapering collet, with pierced sea scrolls. Both spoons good with some surface scratching
