An Edward VII Silver Christening-Mug, by Mappin and Webb, Sheffield, 1904 tapering cylindrical and with beaded borders, engraved with foliage scrolls centring a vacant cartouche95mm high, 6oz 4dwt, 193gFully marked near rim. The marks are generally clear. The base stamped 'Mappin & Webb London'. There is overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the engraving. There is no sign of an erasure on the vacant cartouche.

The cover of the caster further part marked on bezel. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The cover of the caster is very slightly loose and there are some scuffs and marks to the case.
