A very fine gentleman's hand-wound, 18-carat yellow-gold-cased Vacheron Constantin chronograph wristwatch in perfect working order; the textured round dial with baton markers and two Arabic numerals to the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions and signed Vacheron Constantin - Geneve; two further subsidiary dials detailing hours, minutes and seconds; it also measures elapsed times from 1/5th of a second to 30 minutes; the back of the case with circular glass aperture revealing the intricate mechanical movement; black-leather crocodile-effect strap with 18-carat yellow-gold fliplock-type clasp with extra terminal, also signed Vacheron Constantin; original box, booklet and paperwork including its Mappin & Webb Limited export invoice (ex. Garrards) for £8,500 dated February 1998
