A very heavy solid silver four-piece tea service: teapot, hot water jug, large cream/milk jug and two-handled boat-shaped sugar, the silver of thick gauge and each piece mounted on shaped legs with scrolling terminals, marks for Mappin & Webb and each piece assayed London 1924 (total silver weight approx. 1936g)Condition Report: There are no inscriptions, it is a very heavy gauge silver with no major problems with dents, splits or restorations.

A selection of silver plated and EPNS tabeware, to include: a pair of faceted sauce boats with scrolling handles, each 20cm long, a sauce boat with scrolling handle, gadroon borders on three pad feet, 18cm long, an EPNS salt pig, 13cm high, with an associated scoop, 8.5cm long, a twin-handled serving dish, inscribed for the Highland Railway Co, 30cm wide, a silver plated cloche by Elkington & Co, 16cm high, with an associated serving platter by Mappin & Webb, 36cm wide, three twin handled serving dishes by William Hutton & Sons, each 37.5cm wide, and a further six assorted silver plated serving dishes (17)CR; All pieces show heavy wear and scratching commensurate with age and regular use. A few of the pieces show small dents, but most are dent free. There is some splitting around the handles of the twin gravy boats. The handle of the single gravy boat shows thinning and is bent. No obvious signs of damage or repair to any of the pieces.
