An Edwardian silver Christening set, Francis Higgins, London 1904/1906, comprising a trefid spoon, fork and napkin ring (Mappin & Webb) cased by Mappin brothers, a silver bangle, pusher, mustard spoon, dessert spoon, open salts etc. approximately 255gm CONDITION REPORT: The bangle has a broken hinge and is dented. One open salt has some corrosion to interior, probably caused by salt. Small losses to hardstone inlay at terminal of one teaspoon. Christening set in fair condition although the fitted box is a little tired.

The flask has minor wear and dents but I basically sound. Hallmarks a bit worn, makers mark illegible.Glass flask - Overall good.

The carvers may be a different maker, soup ladle worn and pitted, one same ladle missing, some tarnish to coffee spoons and tea spoons, slight tarnish to some dessert forks and spoons. 49 pieces by Mappin & Webb wear commensurate with age. 6 x Fish knives and 6 x Forks by maker H&S, 2 x handles cracked on knives, 1 x fish fork handle cracked, three loose ferules, 1 x preserve spoon by J G G S, 1 x preserve spoon by a different maker, plate worn and handle discoloured.
