A George V Silver Coffee-Pot and Hot-Water Jug, by Mappin and Webb, Sheffield, 1925, each tapering octagonal and on conforming foot, with ebonised handle and hinged cover, engraved with a crest, 26cm high, gross weight 36oz 16dwt (2) . Each marked near rim and inside cover. The bases stamped 'Mappin & Webb Ltd Sheffield and London'. The marks are generally clear. There is some surface scratching and wear consistent with ages and use. There is a bruise to the base of the coffee-pot which causes it to rock slightly when placed on a flat surface.
