A gentlemen's 18ct gold Vacheron Constantin Genève slimline mechanical bracelet watch, c.1960, with a 26.50mm case. A champagne dial with raised gilt batons and hands, integral Milanese bracelet and ladder snap clasp. Import hallmark London 1964. Case no. 402341, movement no. 574888, calibre 1003, 63.70g. A case by 'Mappin & Webb Ltd.'. No papersCondition report: The winder/crown has no crest or marks, but is in proportion to the case.Some marks to the glass.Marks to the dial at the 8 baton.Winds and ticking but no guarantee as to time keeping or running. A gold and platinum, diamond and enamel Royal Artillery military sweetheart brooch, designed as a flaming grenade, grain set with eight cut and rose cut diamonds. With 'UBIQUE' to the blue enamelled scroll below, plain pin and safety catch. Tested as approximately platinum, the scroll as 15ct gold and fittings as 18ct gold. 29 x 17mm, 3.90gCondition report: Loss of enamel next to the ribbon next to the B.Light marks to the mount.There is no street number for Mappin & Webb in the silk lined lid, but the style of the box suggests c.1950, London W not W1, also suggests c.1950.Brooch fittings also c.1950.A mixture of eight cut and rose cut diamonds. At a later date the rose cuts would probably be small eight cuts instead.

A George V Silver Box, by Mappin and Webb, Birmingham, 1916, in the form of a knife-box, oblong and with serpentine front, the sloped hinged cover with drop-ring handle, 7cm high, 4oz 7dwt. Fully marked on bezel and part marked inside cover. The marks are clear. The bezel is further stamped 'Mappin & Webb Ltd'. There are some overall minor surface scratches and wear, consistent with age and use.
A George V Silver Cup and Cover and An Elizabeth II Silver Cup and Cover, The First by Mappin and Webb, London, 1932, The Second by Adie Brothers, Birmingham, 1959, each differing tapering cylindrical and on spreading base, the first engraved with an inscription to Ancell B. Holt for best Lincolnshire Red Shorthorn Bull, the second engraved as the Martini Challenge Cup for the Nottingham Speed Boat Club, on ebonised plinth, 29cm high including plinth and smaller, gross weight 16oz 19dwt (2) . Each fully marked near rim. The first further fully marked on cover bezel, the second part marked on cover bezel, There is some wear to the marks, though they are generally still legible. There is some overall surface scratching and wear. The wear is noticeable as softening to the engraving. There are some bruises to the rims and covers of each so they don't close fully. The second cup has a small metal bracket underneath for fixing to the base. The weight of this is included in the total weight. There are some scuffs to the plinth.
