A large Victorian silver inkstand set with two cut glass inkwells, with silver mounts and a central silver well with chamberstick style lid and snuffer (by Mappin & Webb & Co., Sheffield, 1851) CONDITION REPORTS The stand has some splitting to the silver c-scrolls, there are significant surface scratches to the base around the feet. One inkwell sits fine, the other is not a good fit, both wells have chunks missing to rims, and one has chunks missing to its base. In need of a clean, and has surface scratches and small dents.

Note: 9838 Rifleman L.M. Potts, 5th Battalion, London Rifle Brigade was killed in action on the 10th of December 1914, and is Remembered with Honour at the Lancashire Cottage Cemetery, near Leper, Belguim.
