LETHAL WEAPON 2: A large 25 x 40 colour film poster for the action comedy film Lethal Weapon 2 (1989) signed by both Mel Gibson (Martin Riggs) and Danny Glover (Roger Murtaugh) individually. Signed by both with their names alone to clear areas, Glover`s signature a little light although perfectly legible. Framed and glazed in a plain black frame to an overall size of 27 x 42. VG
STEPHENSON GEORGE: (1781-1848) English Civil Engineer who built the first railway line in the world to use steam locomotives. L.S., Geo. Stephenson, one page, 4to, York, 27th September 1844, to John Gibson. Stephenson writes, in full, `I am requested by the Directors of the Liverpool & Manchester Railway to wait upon you. If you will mention time and place when I may meet you, I shall be ready to attend.` About EX John Gibson (1790-1866) Welsh Sculptor. His sculpture of Stephenson is housed at St. George`s Hall in Liverpool. Gibson also executed a statue which stood in William Huskisson`s tomb at St. James`s cemetery in Liverpool.

A late Alex Herd Coombe Hill scare head long nose putter with fibre sole insert, heavy lead back weighting together with Gibson Kinghorn Dominie alloy centre shaft mallet head putter fitted with a danga wood shaft with square grip -both with full-length period leather grips - note hosel cracks to the alloy putter - never the less a scarce putter to find.
Scarce Gibson " XLALL" all square rustless off set blade putter circa late 1920s featuring a square grip, shaft and hosel - the hosel measures nearly 7 inches long and the head is stamped with the Gibson star and is fitted with a danga wood shaft with a rubber wrapped grip marked ER Whitcombe.
