A rare and collectable 1968/9 Gibson Les Paul Custom guitar in black. This guitar featured on various Rubettes recordings including 'Juke Box Jive', 'I Can Do It', 'You're The Reason Why', 'Allez Oop' and various other album tracks. The body has been weight relieved by Gibson luthier Eddie Jones and is all original apart from this modification. Recently serviced by Robbie Gladwell of Dr Robert's guitar surgery. Comes with a Gibson hard carry case.

A rare and collectable 1964/65 Gibson ES345 guitar in resprayed white (original colour unkown). Purchased by Alan in 1975 this guitar has a holly headstock veneer, a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, patent numbered pickups, ABR-1 with nylon saddle inserts, single ring Kluson heads and gold plated fittings. Has a minor crack in neck. Recently serviced by Robbie Gladwell of Dr Robert's guitar surgery.

A Brass Striking and Repeating Carriage Clock, retailed by Gibson & Co, Paris, circa 1900, carrying handle and repeat button, Corinthian column capitals, enamel dial with Arabic numerals, twin barrel movement with a silvered platform lever escapement, striking on a blued steel gong, 20cm high over handle, with outer travelling case 22.08.18, Brass surfaces are discoloured throughout, all panels are later replaced with perspex panels apart from the escapement top panel, perspex panels with scratches, dial with retailers name rubbed, movement is dirty, strike and repeat are not working correctly, movement in going order.

The following twenty-three lots comprise the dispersal of the collection of leading Northwich historian and author Colin Lynch.CAMDEN, WILLIAM; 'Camden's Britannia, Newly Translated into English: With Large Editions and Improvements', published by E. Gibson and printed by F. Colins for A. Swalle, London 1695, with portrait frontispiece, eight coin tables and fifty maps, in modern boards. CONDITION REPORT: Boards appear modern or at least much later as stated, there are ownership inscriptions to the front with stamps of the former owner's book dealership, the title page has a number of tears and losses, some further tears including to the corners of the engraved frontispiece upper and lower left, tear to the Sommers presentation page and further throughout, foxing and spotting as expected to the pages particularly to the page edges, some wear and waving to the pages and particularly page edges, we cannot confirm all illustrations and maps are present please view and satisfy yourself. Waviness to pages throughout, and some creasing, wear to the boards with dirt and discolouration.Provenance: The collection of Colin Lynch.
