SLASH OVER LIFE SIZED SCULPTURE SIGNED - This unique Slash Sculpture measuring 7.5 feet tall has been made by artist Simon Weitzman and welder/finisher Darren Kenny https://www.heavymetalsculptures.com/ . It is officially signed by Slash in two places and was made to benefit IFAW, the International Fund for Animal Welfare, to which Slash acts as an ambassador, and comes fitted with a Slash signature guitar. The sculpture is also approved by Phil Manbridge, UK Regional Director and Richie Marriott, Senior Development Advisor, UK from the IFAW's UK headquarters. https://www.ifaw.org/united-kingdom Over the last few years it has been on display at the London Gibson showroom, at The BRIT Awards, at St Pancras and it is currently on display at The BME, the British Music Experience in Liverpool. Proceeds from the sale of the sculpture will go to support the IFAW and help protect elephants from poachers. The sculpture stands at seven and a half feet and is made from recycled car, bike and instrument parts with a tricked out black paint job. It also comes with a signature Slash Gibson guitar. After creating his amazing Slash sculpture, Simon decided he could use it to raise money for charity and the auction idea was born. Slash is himself a passionate advocate for the welfare of wild animals and has supported numerous campaigns for IFAW and other animal welfare organisations around the world. He regularly speaks out on the plight of elephants being slaughtered for the ivory trade and has given his approval to the sculpture and auction, even signing the sculpture of himself on both the base and hat.
