A late 19th century Continental yellow-metal (marked K18) open-faced ladies pocket watch, the centrally foliate engraved dial with Roman numerals, ornately engraved rear case with vacant shield-shaped cartouche within gilt-tooled red-Morocco circular boxThe inner dust cover appears to be gold plated. There is no inscription, it is individually numbered 17330. We are not sure if this works as it does not have a key. Provenance: This has come privately from a good family vault which has just come to light. When you blow on the balance wheel it does appear to go round. No dents to the case are noted, the case diameter is approx. 39mm and the gross weight approx. 46.3g

An 18-carat yellow-gold cased open-faced pocket watch, the engraved dial with Roman numerals and the subsidiary seconds hand at the 6 o'clock position, engine-turned decoration to the back with a central circular vacant cartouche, together with an unmarked yellow-metal seal fob key mounted with an unengraved circular hardstone, and upon a gold-plated chain (boxed)There is a separate dust cover which is hallmarked 18 carat gold. There are two keys with this, a separate key and a yellow metal key on a chain. We have wound the watch up and it does appear to be ticking for 30 seconds. No discernible dents to the case, very “minor” scratches viewed under a loupe. Engine turned back (slightly worn around the edge) and small circular vacant cartouche. Case diameter approx. 42mm, gross weight approx. 67.8g.

Cook 58, Spencer Street, Clerkenwell, London, 26899', the 39mm. Roman enamel dial with blued steel hands and subsidiary seconds at 6, the case back with engraved monogram for the first owner, Francois Edward Luce, with 18ct yellow gold curb link double fob chain. (2)* Condition: Winds and runs. Dial VG. Case back has one small ding. Otherwise good. Fob chain good.
An unusual French novelty miniature Sedan chair pocket watch vitrine, late 19th / early 20th century, of paper mache construction, on gold ground, embellished with delightful scenes of frolicking winged cherubs, doves and floral garlands and scroll motifs, velour trim, bevelled glass windows, ornate bow shaped door handle, the door opening to reveal a blue/purple velvet interior with gold trim a watch hanging hook, 6¾in. (17cm.) high. *Conditioon: in excellent condition, with slight corner edge wear.
