An early 19th Century tortoiseshell and silver triple-cased pocket watch, George Prior, London, the fusee movement signed and numbered 34340, watch diameter 4cm CONDITION REPORT: There are some losses to edges of the outer tortoiseshell case, the case back diameter is 58mm. Rubbing and marks to dial. Some nibbles to the glass cover, scratches present. The inner-most silver case with superficial scratches, marks and discolouration. Not working. When fully wound, hands go round and round so there is something wrong with the movement. Outer case has no glass. Tortoiseshell split and missing by hinge. Case badly scratched. Inner case slightly dented. Bearing London Hallmarks 1808. Dial scratched and split in places.
