Gilks, Weedon Beck(?)', no 1035, the balance cock in the form of an engraved lyre and with a diamond end stone, the silver dial engraved with a exotic birds amidst flowers and foliate scrolls within a raised gilt Roman chapter ring and gilt hands and a subsidiary seconds dial, the 53mm diameter three-piece hinged case, the back with a small round reserved engraved with script initials 'CS(?)' possibly J or T(?) and hallmarked Birmingham 1830 Condition Report: We do not guarantee any watch for accuracy. This example appears to be in working order as the balance moves back and forth freely. W have wound it a little and though ticking it runs for approx 5-15 seconds and then stops.

In a foliate-pierced two-piece hinged case, 59.5mm diameter, Bulls eye glass, fusee movement with a latice-pierced bridge cock, silver 'Avance Retard' round regulation dial, square tapering 'Egyptian' pillars and engraved with the makers name, the dial with a central engraved-brass(?) rotating alarm disc with pointer, within a white enamel chapter with black Roman numerals. Condition Report: We do not guarantee any watch for accuracy, We haven't applied any power and so at this stage we would have to say not funtioning, however the movement doesn't appear on first inspection to have any obvious problems to the naked and uninformed eye. Case in overall good condition for its age, general wear and tear, hinge good, bell present.

Condition Report: We do not guarantee the accuracy of any watch. Overall fair condition only, general wear and tear commensurate with age and heavy use, a large several small dents to the case as well as many scuffs and quite 'score' marks through clumsy use of a case-opening knife where previous owners have tried to open the back (The movement only accessible through the front), the case back also with a dent, , wset-hands funtioning, requires a clean and a full overhaul.
