A Jacot and Bovit patent 8 day lever late 19thC Swiss pocket watch. It has a reversed 3/4 plate keyless movement with compensation balance, club tooth, straight line lever escapement. Opening the back single cover reveals an open centrally placed barrel with a visible blue mainspring under glass. Wound by a folding key, the centre thumbwheel is for adjusting the hands. The movement is engraved 'Percy Edwards and Co. Piccadilly' and has an engraved Crown above. The Watch is contained within a white metal locking carry case with the original key.
