The movement marked ''examined J.W. Benson, 62 & 64 Ludgate Hill, London, Swiss made, Watchmaker's by Warrant to the Queen and the Prince of Wales''. The cased engraved to the exterior with an heraldic gauntlet holding a dagger and a ribbon with a motto (indistinct.... Dieu est ma Fiance). Movement appeared to run satisfactorily at the time of cataloguing.
