A 9ct gold open faced pocket watch by Samuel Edgcumbe, the enamel dial with Roman numerals denoting hours, seconds subsidiary at the half hour, together with a 9ct gold fancy link albert chain with T-bar, combined weight approximately 106g, case 48mm diameter Condition Report: All watches and clocks are sold as untested for time keeping accuracy. Upon inspection this watch was not winding or ticking, appears to be overwound. Lacking glass dial cover. Noticeable dent present to the case rim, between 9/10 hours. Case back with a couple of small dents. T-bar and clasp stamped 9ct. Watch chain weighs 28.5g, watch itself 78g.

The grille with lion passant only. There is some minor wear to the marks though in general they are still legible. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the high points and the gilding. The hinge closes flush.
