A George III silver pair cased verge pocket watch, William Lloyd, London, 1764, with enamelled dial with Roman numerals (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The outer case is in generally good condition with no issues. The clasp shuts as it should. The inner case is also in good order as is the watch glass. The dial is also in generally very good order with the exception of a minor nibble around the hinge spring below the numeral 6. The movement is clean and running.
An Elgin Watch Co. full Hunter pocket watch, with foliate engraved case, knob wind, the case stamped "14 K" and with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The case is in very good condition with no issues. The dial has three hairline cracks, two between the numerals 7 and 8 and one just opposite the 20 on the subsidiary seconds dial. There is a further crack which is elliptical above the numeral 11. The clock is not currently ticking. The main spring appears to be damaged. The movement is an Elgin Watch Company movement Serial No. 5139456.
A George II silver pair cased verge pocket watch, by R. Elliott, London, 1756, Serial No. 1831, the enamelled dial with Roman numerals (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This timepiece does wind and the movement is ticking away as it should. The dial has three faint hairline cracks emanating from the centre and is generally a little dirty. There are also minor surface scuffs and scratches to the dial. The inner case is in good order. The outer case is serviceable however the metal is a little thin and there are minor losses particularly below the numeral 6. There is also an old solder repair to the rear of the watch case indicating the thinness of this outer case.
