A gentleman's 9 carat gold cased pocket watch, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, marked Waltham USA, matched blued steel hands, assay marks for 1924, stem-wind Waltham movement with damascene decoration and serial number 24009819, overall weight 90g. - Condition: The dial, watch glass and case are all in very good condition with no dents. The hinges are all good; the case has minor marks consistent with age and careful use. The movement ticks and the hands move freely when the watch is wound (this does not constitute a guarantee). Dial diameter is approx 4.3 cm; case diameter is approx 4.8 cm. The box is unmarked except for the retailers mark which is 'Batemans of Church Street, St Helens'. The box hinge is intact but loose; the box press-lock is good, the box is faded with age but structurally sound. Estimate £200 - £300 - This lot MUST be paid for and collected, or delivery arranged, no later than close of business on Tuesday. Please do not bid if you are unable to comply
