Condition Report: Outer Shagreen case slightly rubbed. Hinge is firm. Inner case good, glass good, hinge firm and closes well. Dial has several hairline cracks and chips (around catch). NO) key. Not working.
A triple case verge pocket watch, signed Markwick Markham, London, made for the Turkish market, having signed 3.8cm white enamel dial, the outer case covered with under painted horn, the movement signed Rundle & Bridge, No 218, A/F, the two silver inner cases London 1783 makers mark indistinct and London 1803 by Thomas Carpenter, key wind. Condition Report: Outer case (horn), missing some brass pinheads and horn to front. It does not close well. Outer case (metal) dented, inner case dented around key hole - closes well. Dial scuffed, repaired (12%) with hairline cracks 10 - 2. Closes well. The watch does not appear to be working and wheel is not moving. NO key.

A French 18th century gold open-faced key-wind pocket watch, the white enamel dial (damaged) with black Arabic numerals and numbered in red '981 а Paris'. The bezel set with half pearls and similar pearl-set bezel to the reverse containing a cover with dark orange guilloche decoration with white graduated cruciform design. Unidentified French marks to the inner case with later 9ct gold mounted black silk fob and small fob seal mounted with a carnelian engraved with a small bird. The watch 3.5cm wide.
