WWI Pocket compass in chromed brass case. 8 cardinal points or winds, bears registered design mark 418645 published in 1903. Set within a quality Dennison watch case on consignment to the RAF. Untested, but observed correcting for north. Push button clasp set within chain mount. Engraved with serial number 3636 to reverse of lid and 2036 to the case circumference. Good condition.

The 42mm white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds dial, the three quarter plate movement signed G Burrell Sheffield, hallmarked London 1894 to outer and inner covers, gross weight 115.6g.Winds and runs. The dial is good. One small dent and many tiny dents. Scratches around the opening where someone has crudely attempted to open the back. The back of the case is scratched and worn but could be polished. Case diameter 49mm.
