A George III mahogany secretaire bookcase, the upper part with a moulded cornice above adjustable shelves enclosed by a pair of later bevel edge glazed doors, the projecting base with a dummy drawer hinged fall enclosing a fitted interior, three long drawers below, on bracket feet, 110cm wide x 56cm deep x 220cm high.
A Regency mahogany secretaire chest, having a deep fitted secretaire drawer with fallfront, over three further long graduated drawers, w.120cm, d.55cm, h.102cm.Top with old approx. 10” split to front right, and smaller split just above it.Moulding to top left corner is broken off but present.Left hand side with large and heavily faded split.Right hand side good.Drawers run well.All with some sun-bleaching.
An 18th century figured walnut secretaire chest-on-chest, the upper section having three short and three long graduated and crossbanded drawers, within fluted corner pilasters, the base having fitted secretaire drawer over two further long drawers, each with brass batwing escutcheons, the whole on replacement bracket feet (restored), w.100cm, d.56cm, h.169cm.Stands well.Replacement escutcheons.Two veneer replacements to right side of two drawers.Some chips to one upper side.All drawers run well.Feet probably later.The whole in good but restored condition.
Chinoiserie lacquered secretaire display cabinet, circa 1920, inverted breakfront with three-quarter gallery top, centred with a pull down front opening to reveal drawers and pigeonholes, with a pull up lectern above and with three drawers beneath, all lacquered with chinoiserie figures in gilt and silver lacquers against a black ground, flanked on either side with a gilt astragal glazed door opening to shelves, all raised on short cabriole legs with claw and ball feet, width 153cm, depth 42.5cm, height 137cm
A Howard & Sons Berner Street oak secretaire cupboard, fitted with a series of secretaire drawer and panelled cupboard doors and all raised on a plinth base stamped to top of secretaire. Width 198 cm, height 111 cm, depth 45 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The cupboard is in generally good condition. The colour is good and uniform throughout. The top is in good condition with no significant splits or marks. The secretaire drawer is not warped and opens as it should. The interior hinges are present. The leather writing surface is serviceable but scuffed and badly marked in places. The cupboard doors are not warped and both open to shelves. The centre panel doors are a little stiff at the hinges but again are not warped and meet correctly in the middle. The base moulding between the two centre doors is misaligned. If moved to the right when put back together this would not leave a gap on the right hand side. We have just done this. On the left hand side there is however the small piece of return moulding which is actually missing.

Cabinet in good condition, although one jamb maybe slightly different colour, but acceptable. Overall appears to be in satisfactory condition.
