A George III mahogany secretaire cabinet, circa 1775, the acanthus carved fretwork swan-neck pediment above a pierced dentil cornice and blind fretwork apron, above a pair of geometric astragal glazed doors enclosing shelves, the lower section with a moulded edge above a secretaire drawer fronted as two long drawers enclosing short drawers and pigeon holes, three graduated long drawers below on bracket feet, 113cm, with four keys. Provenance: purchased Sotheby's, lot 117, 5th July 1991.
