CIRCA 1850 MAHOGANY SECRETAIRE CHEST, the top drawer front inlaid with walnut and boxwood panels to a central oval depicting a sailor leaning against an anchor, the drop-down drawer front opening to reveal an interior arrangement of drawers and pigeonholes over a further three long drawers, all having replacement brass pummels and swan neck handles, the whole raised on modern castors, the later bracket feet now removed are present but re-attaching is required, 102cms H, 120cms W, 57cms D
A Victorian brass bound campaign chest fitted a central secretaire drawer with Bramah lock, flanked by two short drawers above three long drawers on turned feet, 99cm wide/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: This chest is being sold on behalf of a private client and with no further provenance, there is no name or other details on back. There are scratches and gouges to the top, the drawer fronts are stained in places but of good colour generally, left hand side top half has two splits, right hand side has noticeable scratches and chips to base, secretaire has intresting slide to reveal fitted drawers, the leather is split by the hinge fall, a good piece particularly with the arrangement of three drawers and fitted secretaire. 47cm deep and 108cm high

An Antique Continental pine secretaire 3-drawer chest, on bracket feet, W137cm, H104cm, D63cm.In nice overall condition with some age use related splits to the top and surface marks. There is some damage to the handles and the beading. There are a couple of splits to the drawer fronts. The front bracket feet have been repaired. It is probably early 20th Century.

The base with slight damage to left side of top, secretaire drawer front has some slight veneer damage and horizontal split to front (see images) handles appear to be original, fold down functioning, leather inset is probably a a replacement, some veneer cracks to fold down front, it is secure when in place but with slight movement. Some slight veneer loss and damage to mouldings, cupboard below and fitted trays ok. General wear to side, minor split to right side, some slight variation in colour - left side more faded, overall general wear and small defects, mostly good condition. Key to upper section present, no further keys
