A GEORGE III MAHOGANY SECRETAIRE CHEST ON CHESTWith fitted drawer, 111cm wide; 54cm deep; 184cm highCondition report: Requires some restoration, the joints are loose -notably to the left side of the upper section which has resulted in an obvious gap. Various missing and chipped off sections of cock-beading around the drawer front edges. Loose fillet section to the base of the lower chest on the left hand side, and also canted angle pilaster to the left side also loose. Right hand side moulded cornice is currently off and present in the top frieze drawer. A small split to the bracket foot on the right side. Drawer handles are later and one is missing a handle. *Numerous patches beneath the new drawer handles or besides where previous ones were positioned. Some discolouration and fading  - notably to the secretaire drawer. Otherwise, inevitable scuffs, scratches, dents, small chips and marks commensurate with wear, use and age.Please see extra images.
