This chest has been re-veneered and handles and escutcheons replaced. Cornice missing moulding at one corner. Secretaire drawer re-fitted. Sides split to both top and bottom. Area of veneer missing at bottom right hand pillar. In two parts- top 90cm high x 53cm deep. Base- 94cm high x 57 deep.

A Victorian teak Campaign chest, the upper section with an arrangement of two short and two long drawers, above the lower section with two graduated long drawers, both sections with recessed brass handles and brass reinforced corners, 100cms wide.Condition ReportSecretaire drawer is empty, the lock has been removed and it has been re-lined. The top of the upper section has some water marks & other stains, all brass fittings are tarnished and all sides have some scratches/marks and shrinkage splits. The right hand side has a 13x4cms piece of veneer missing. The lower section has general wear, all sides have some shrinkage splits and marks. One side has a patch repair which is 7x10cms. Overall the piece is in tired condition and is in need of restoring. The measurements are 100cms wide, 50cms deep and is 102cms high.
