A George III style mahogany breakfront library bookcase, the moulded cornice above a fluted frieze, with two pairs of bar glazed doors below, the base section having a secretaire drawer, four small drawers, and two pairs of panel doors, 164 cm wide See illustration Condition report Report by RB 206 cm high. Not a modern production, probably 100 years old or so. Some of the glaze putty is missing to the inside of the panel doors, adjustable shelves, no key escutcheons to the centre and left doors, small corner missing to left hand door on the breakfront, the centre secretaire drawer has some staining to the leather inset panel, and is lacking the left hand brass button release fitting and lock, small area of moulding missing to left hand central panel door and bottom right hand panel door lacking key escutcheon. Overall in a market fresh condition which would now benefit from a bit of a clean and a wipe over. Good quality. .
