British Railways Eastern Region 6 inch mahogany cased mantle clock. The original dial shows BR(E) 13860 and SMITHS EMPIRE. The mahogany case retains its original cast brass bezel and is stamped underneath 13860. The Smiths 7 day going barrel movement with platform escapement is in good working condition and has been recently cleaned and oiled. The LNER clock records show this clock as last being in use at Southend on Sea Central Station Line Traffic Manager accounting office Sutton Road. Comes complete with key and a copy of the clock record. Measures 10.5in x 9.25in x 3.75in deep.
