Art Noveau mantle clock mounted with a figure of Cupid on a marble base, the two train movement signed, E M Paris 61cm HCondition Report: Some chipping and wear to marble base. Large crack to Cupid's left wing, where it has clearly broken away and been reattached. Apart from this, minor general wear overall.
A Victorian marble detailed polished slate mantle clock with key and brass bob-weight pendulum, the brass plate movement having a crossed arrows makers' trademark possibly for the "Hamburg American Company" and chiming the hours and half-hours on a gong. Has been running satisfactorily for 40 minutes tonight (Thursday 22nd July 2021 from 1835 to 1915 hours and is still running). Appears in tidy condition but the right hand winder appears to slip slightly when tightly wound. Some small chips to the corners of the case. 45.3 cms wide, 35.8 cms high, 13.9 cms deep approx.
