A 19th Century French gilt brassed cased mantle clock with Sèvres style pink ground panels decorated with cherubs and exotic birds 35 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Appears to be working although this is not guaranteed - see images for back and working. Pendulum is present, key is not. Over all condition appears good though could arguably do with a clean. Metalwork sound. No'd to back of base 23020. Porcelain work appears sound with no sign of serious wear to gilding
A circa 1900 French lacquered brass cased carriage clock, the circular matt dial with Arabic numerals within an ivorine frame inscribed to top "To H du C Norris Esq from Lieut Col G Dalrymple White MP and Officers Fourth BG Grenadier Guards in recollection of Basildon Oct & Novr 1914" 14.5 cm high not including handle together with a mid 20th Century Swiza eight day mantle clock CONDITION REPORTS Unknown if working. The carriage clock has some pitting to the brass throughout. The base is moving i.e. as though something is missing from the inside. There are scratch marks to the base. There is wear to the ivorine panel - inscription is mainly gone. There is some chipping to the glass door. Hands move as well as fly wheel. The other clock has pitting and wear to the brass throughout, uinknown if in working order. Hands move. In need of a clean. Missing one screw to the back plate. See images for more details. General wear and tear conducive with age and use to include dirt etc, surface scratching
