Tapering spire shaped clock hood adorned with laurel swag shaped brass embellishment. Glazed front enamel dial with Roman & Arabic numerals to chapter ring. Raised on brass banded base with cover and cup supports. The eight-day movement marked ' France ' to back.Measures approx. 30cm x 15cm x 10cm.

A British WWII period RAF Officer's/Sergeant’s Mess mantle clock, architectural oak case, round silvered steel dial with Roman numerals and RAF insignia, brass fusee movement stamped 'SM&Co', height 35cm. Condition - appears to have been re-finished, general wear including chips and losses to case, scratches etc., movement with pendulum locking part not attached and missing screw, hour hand loose, winding and ticking fine, however sold without guarantee.
