A 19th century mahogany cased mantle clock, by Vulliamy of London, the circular dial with Roman numerals, having date and days to the inner rim, the back plate inscribed Vuillamy London 652, the case with an eagle and laurel wreath to the front with a moulded serpent around the dial, raised on an ebonised plinth with line inlay, height 8insCondition Report: Pendulum missing to movement, one finger possibly replaced, one missing, marks and scratches to dial, not guaranteed working order, appear to be replacement screws to door, hinges appear original but not guaranteed, locking plate to door missing and lock af, case stained and marked with various minor bruising and chips, some ebonised stringing probably replaced, minor chips to closing style of door and one ebonised slip loose.

A 19TH CENTURY CONTINENTAL VERNIS MARTIN PAINTED METAL MOUNTED MANTLE CLOCK the shaped case decorated with a boy and a girl and splays of flowers, the cast brass dial inset with enamel numeral, the French movement striking the hours and half hours on a bell, 17.5cm wide x 10.5cm deep x 35.5cm high Condition: the case with wear and marks to the painted decoration and some fading to the lacquer, small loss of the moulding to the case just behind the cast finial, the movement in need of cleaning and repair, the clock complete with original pendulum, small split to the front of the case lower right, moderate condition overall
