Art Deco Marble Figural Mantle Clock Raised on rectangular base of cream and moss green veined Verdi marble, the clock is cased in geometric form marble with chromed dial and black numerals. A bronzed dog figure is seated to the side of the clock. Complete with key and pendulum. 18 inches in length, height, 9 inches. Good condition. Please note bell is missing.

A 19th century gilt spelter mantle clock, the eight day movement and dial inscribed for H. Rochat a Paris, chiming on a bell, mounted with a young female seated within a fruiting vine bocage upon a Rococo scroll and shell base, the matt gilt burnished in parts, all beneath a glass dome on ebonised base, overall height 43.5 cm.
A late Victorian inlaid mahogany mantle clock, with two-train French striking movement by Jules Rolez Ltd., Paris. Height including brass finial 37 cm, width 17 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds on both trains. It seems to be ticking away as it should. The movement is not striking however when manually advanced. The dial glass and brass bezel are all in good order. The case is in extremely good condition also with only very minor marks.
A gilt spelter mantle clock, late 19th century, modelled as a Continental soldier with two axes beside a shield with war trophies all upon an alabaster base, gilt metal decorations, the movement chiming on a bell signed Marti, 38 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds on both trains. It is ticking away and seems to be striking as it should. There are nibbles around both winding apertures and several hairline cracks to the ivorine dial. The spelter work is all in good structural order. There are some losses and deterioration to the gilt finish. The alabaster case has numerous small scratches and scuffs particularly to the sharp edges. There are however no significant losses only minor abrasions.
A Victorian black slate mantle clock, by Fattorini & Sons, with two-train striking movement. Width 29 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds on both trains and appears to be ticking away and striking as it should. The dial has minor marks around the winding apertures and a scratch from the centre of the dial up through the maker's name. There are also other small marks around the very centre of the dial where the pointers come through. The case itself is in reasonably good condition also. There are very small chips to the front corners of the case and other minor nibbles but no significant losses to the case.
A Victorian black slate and variegated marble mantle clock, with Brocot visible movement and with applied presentation plaque, "was presented to W.H. Martin and members of the Atlas Lodge M.U..." 50 cm wide, 32 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: The movement is stamped Carlhian and Beaumetz Paris. It has an F Marti movement. We do have the pendulum. The clock is currently ticking away. The left hand train winds. The right hand train is however fully wound. It is striking but not correctly. The centre section of the dial has numerous hairline cracks and fractures. The door has a substantial chip to the glass. The case is in reasonably good condition. There are numerous small edge nibbles and some small chips to the outer extremities of the case, most evident on the inside edge of the right triangular upright. Another is visible on the front right hand corner of the black slate moulding.
A Continental porcelain mantle clock, circa 1900, with an embossed gilt centre depicting a muse playing a lyre looking over a lake towards a castle, porcelain with transfer printed and gilt decoration. Height 21.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Generally in good condition throughout. The face is free from any chips, cracks or flaws. The porcelain body has printed decoration. The moulded decoration is heightened with gilding. The movement is secured to the rear by two bolts on a circular frame, one of the bolts is missing. The rear of the movement has been gilded and 50% of this is missing. The aperture at the rear where the clock sits is unglazed. This may not be the original clock movement for this case but it does sit rather well. The porcelain body is free of any obvious chips, cracks or flaws.

A 19th Century Black Forest type mantle clock, with cockerel and hens and leaf decoration, the dial set with blue and white enamel markers, set with Roman numerals, 33 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Numerous surface scratches and a build up of dust and dirt. Accretions, some splits to the wood in areas. One - what appears to be an - old repair on one of the bits of carved straw decoration at the top. The clock appears to be missing the back cover. There is a tiny chip to the comb of the cockerel and also what appears to be some areas of loss to a couple of the tail feathers of the cockerel. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use.
